First World Problem: HAIR

My first world problem: HAIR. 
I have oily scalp, weak & brittle hair and never in my life I grow my hair till my shoulder. I will get it chop off once it reach a certain length as my hair will start to drop. =( Always wanted something PINK on my hair but afraid that it will damage my scalp! But this time. I DON'T CARE ANYMORE. 

Went to my usual hair stylist, MotherLily Lee. The rentals at FEP are always increasing so she is always moving from shop to shop. Tired different hair stylists before, but none can deal with my almost baldness in middle of my head and couldn't cut the desire style I wanted. A few years back I went to J-Salon (also at FEP Level 4), my hair totally ruin and the baldness is mother fuXXing obvious. 

Told Aunt Lily to cut my hair same like hers.

I'm being too ambitious LOL

Initially I wanted the whole head PINK but Aunt Lily
is worried that it may ruin my hair. She suggested to do
highlights instead.
BTW, to get pink on your hair, you need to bleach first. 

I'm cool with anything as long as there's PINK =D Told
her to put the PINK on my fringe. 

Instant solve my baldness in middle. I know some of you
don't get it why I keep on saying "baldness in middle" when
usually it only happens to middle age men / women.

Dear all, it's genes from my dad side. My uncle, aunt & cousins
have the same issue since young. I'm lucky to meet Aunt Lily,
she create wonders on my hair.

My hair didn't damage // drop after bleaching and dying!

Couch Potato.

There are some days that I don't feel like moving at all esp after a long tiring day at work. Decided to skip the usual workout routine & chill at home.

Had a super huge craving for chicken chop so I made myself this!

Don't really look appealing I guess, to some of you but at least it's healthy! Didn't have time to marinate it & I just simply spread some salt on it and put it in my conventional oven.

Ingredients: 2 Chicken Breast Meat / Broccoli / Mix Vegetables.  

Soup of the Day: Chicken Corn Soup (Campbell) .... Instant YUM!



And .... A glass of red wine. Cheers!




Then someone came knocking my door, taken aback because home alone thinking some serial murderer or "hantu" coming for me. I think I watch too much horror movies. It's the delivery guy from Eurasia courier. I really hate this courier service because 9/10 of the delivery men are rude and irresponsible. Eg. When you not at home, they will give you a call to inform you that they left the parcel outside your shoe rack or doorstep and wouldn't make an effort to do a re-delivery  // Or.. knocking vigorously as if they are going to barge in anytime.

FYI, their service charge is quite steep.

But seller didn't mention that there's LED light too! Major happy with the purchase so I'm gonna help to promote the shop! My room is filled with nice smell now~

It's been a long time since my last update on tumblr as I've have been so busy for the last 2 weeks. Sorry for the overdue post!

1) "High Tea" with my weekend workout buddy! 

Not so high afterall. LOL Ordered only Teh-O Kosong as it's almost dinner time & I don't want to spoil my appetite. First time trying out Teh-O Kosong, I kind of like it cost it's not sweet yet I can taste the tea scent better. I find the normal Teh too sweet. We haven been working out on weekends due to events and injuries. Our usual hanging spot after toning & dance classes every weekend.

Toastbox should totally issue us the VIP card!!!!








2) My bling gelish nails done by Priscilla from Nails Etcetera.

My purpose of going there was to get my gel extensions done. I have this short/weak/brittle nails and they are never healthy and long in my life before (might be my genes). So i did some research online (cozycot) and people are raving about her so I decided to try. I use to have package with Relax Nails & Spa but they are so expensive and it's going to cost me a bomb it I want to do it often!

Don't mind me, my hands are really short and ugly.. So don't expect the nail arts/crystal on me is going to be stunning. 

Priscilla told me that since my nails are so pathetic, I should drop the idea of doing extensions. It will damage my nails even more. She will try to save my nails (strengthen & healthier) and also prefer to work on real nails. She felt that doing extensions are a waste of money. I'll see her again in 3 weeks time to let her see my nails condition, my road to healthier & stronger nails!! =D

3) Updates on my $5 Mole Removal 

My mole obviously flatten and now left the scaring part to heal. May take a long time, I should cut down on spicy / fried / seafood / black sauce! Overall it works, I might want to go back again to let them check on it to make sure it's completely gone as there's a warranty for this mole removal if I go back to them within a year.

$5 and is painless. MAD WORTH IT !!!

I didn't get the name, but it's the 3rd shop (pasamalam stalls) located in front of Fu Lu Shou and opposite of the Market. Happy finding! =P







4) Sri Bayu Balinese Spa is soon to be taken over by a new management! 

I'm not paid to do this, but I'm kind enough to help to spread this news. Apparently the owner of this spa is heavily pregnant and is due soon. I really love the masseurs (they feel like my mum), the receptionist (feel like a family & no hard sell at all) and the ambience of the spa. Can u also believe that the owner is only 22 years old? 

Anyway, put the gossip aside. =X

The new management will be taking over the shop officially in JUNE. We are all being advised to finish our package by May/June as they do not know whether the new management will increase the price or hard sell.

HOLY MOLY

Today I finally got my mole removed! 

BEFORE

I have this mole popping out at the right side of my nose. According to the Chinese facial reading, it means bitchy. =xxx Removed it at Bugis, one of the stall in front of Fu Lu Shou complex at $5! First they will apply the numbing cream and let you wait for 10mins, after that they use a tool which look like a mechanical pencil to burn the mole. Throughout the process I don't feel any pain at all! Still got warranty somemore lolol Means if my mole grow back within a year, they will do it for me free until the mole is completely gone.

Unknown powder applied after my treatment. Was told to wait about 7 days for the dead skin to peel off. 

Don't mind me... my small eyes and blemishes on my face. =P

Gui Ling Gao on a hot day & heavy buffet last night! Aids in digestion and constipation. =D The bitter the better.

Updated November 2013:  My mole didn't drop off completely. Would suggest you guys go to reputable aesthetics because my mom has some scarring after their treatment. Kind of regret doing at those stalls.

EMO WEEK FOR ME. =( 

1) Sometimes I think I'm too passionate or what. I love to share my stuffs simply because I see you as a friend. It seem like I still have yet to learn my lesson.

Dear you, your motive is clear now. You just want information out from me and tally from the rest. Maybe finding out the truth is a satisfaction for you. And then if I haven been telling you much and you got fed up with me and you go " Nevermind, who who & who will tell me." Aigooo Why so KPO?  I also wonder why would you want to share my stuffs around? It's not nice to hear the it from someone else mouth. Are you actually excited for me? 

Why are u always so bias to a particular person when all of us don't see it as an issue? If you are so unhappy with that person, kindly exclude yourself from all the gatherings if that person is there.  Why are you always saying such negative things to me in the texts and got so worked up after each gatherings? If that person is so dangerous and harmful, why is that person still around? Why not next time, let the person who organize it know your feedbacks on why are you so unhappy with that person instead of venting your angers on me? Or you need my help? =) 

The last thing, I got picked. You have problem? I'm friendly, approachable and gorgeous. Trying to bring me down in all ways? I think you are only wasting your time!  If you want to be in that shoot, I can put in a few good words for you too! =)))) You are most welcome!! 

Dear you, I have enough of your nonsense.I don't really vent friendship  problems here or anywhere unless it's getting my nerves! Why are u all so childish one?? I wonder is it because all of you are from single sex school and have problems dealing with guys? 

At this point, I'm glad that my parents sent me to co-ed schools! 

I've slapped you a zillion times on my mind.

2) I'm finally going to Korea for my PS! Booked my flights just now and is looking for Day Tour guides & accommodations! 

Hope when I return back to SG I'll look like this! =P

DISAPPOINTED!

For now, I guess I really need to talk. I haven been going to classes at the fitness club. These days, I just need to be alone and hitting on the treadmill seem like a better choice. Sometimes I wonder if this fitness club is a right place for me or I need to source out other new clubs. No doubt I made alot of friends throughout the years.

Just last week, I called up the club to cancel 1 of my booking because I couldn't make it and pretty last minute. I was being told that I am BLOCKED for cancelling this particular class! WTH? At that point, I'm too tired to argue with them and I see no point doing it (the policy stated they reserve the right to do so). My heart was dead for a few minutes lol. How can they do this do a member especially I've been them with many years? ENOUGH. I have enough with their stupid rules. 

1. You are not allow to extend your package if your MC is not more than 3 days. 
   (WTH? What if I just got a minor flu? Need 3 days meh? Means even if I got a minor flu I still can workout lor. What if I faint? But u guys stated that the company will not responsible what!) 
2. Some classes need reservations. Got to standby at 8am to book. Remember to cancel 5hrs before the class start or else they deduct a day off from your package. 
   (NICE. Not everyone lead a wealthy life that don't have to work. Cancel too many times also kana block.) 
3. Feedbacks.
   (They do listen, then brush u off with the "classic" manner. I've seen a particular instructor that the members have been complaining for 5 years till now and she is still teaching, same time same slot. =). Good one!) 

It is a yearly routine that I'll write a super long feedback email to them and the reply I got is always short and insincere. This determine that it's time to leave! My package ends in Aug 2013, if you guys have any recommendation please reply this post! =D 

I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER AFTER RANTING! =DDDD

I have sleepless nights lately so I bought this for better sleep! One for bro and one for myself. Lemongrass oil claim to relieve the mind and tone the skin and the Lavender for relaxing, cold & flu. Both tried and they don't smell artificial at all! (You know what I mean.)

BERRY FROYO ICE POPS RECIPE

Bought the Ice Cream pop mould from Daiso at $2!  

 Recipe

• 9 Strawberries 
• 20 Blueberries
• 300g of Low Fat Natural Yogurt(That is 2 packs of yogurt. For me I love Marigold brand!)
• 1TBSP Honey(I used Organic Honey. Can be replaced by sugar... but personally find honey tastier and healthier.)

Put all the ingredients into the blender and blend on high speed. Can't exactly tell you guys how long it takes but it's only a few second in my blender. The longer you grind them, the smoother your pops will be!
Lastly, pour the mixtures to your moulds (the recipe above is enough to make 8 pops!) and FREEZE for at least a 4-5 hours until solid. 

I'll update again when I try out different recipes.
